We use a state of the art method called Thermal Image Leak Detecting, also known as infrared thermography.
Using infrared camera technology thermal imaging allows us to see inside walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, or any other solid structure so we can locate with precision the source of your leak. It works by measuring how long a structure takes to give out or take in energy (ie change temperature), the longer it takes the denser the material is and, as water increases density, the source of the leak is in the area with the slowest changing temperature. Simple!
